Covid-19 Risk Policy
By purchasing tickets to the 2020 Owl Prowl, I certify that neither I nor my guests will have traveled outside of the state of Connecticut during the 2 weeks prior to the event on November 20th.
If I, or any of my party, do not feel well, exhibit any symptoms of Covid-19, or have been around anyone either showing symptoms or testing positive for Covid-19 during the two weeks prior to November 20th, we will inform Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy, and we will not attend the event.
Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy has put into place preventative measures to reduce the risk of Covid; however, I acknowledge that Ripley cannot guarantee that I will not become infected. I acknowledge the contagious nature of Covid-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by Covid-19 by interacting with the public during this event, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by Covid-19 at Ripley may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Ripley employees, volunteers, and event participants and their families.
I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including but not limited to personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with my attendance at this event. On my behalf, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Ripley, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Ripley, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a Covid-19 infection occurs before, during, or after this event.
Do you and all of your guests agree to the above terms?
