Around the World with Birds
Saturday, September 26th
5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Event Details
  • The Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy Benefit will be outside, in the meadow at 55 Duck Pond Road, Litchfield, CT. The rain date is Saturday, October 3rd.
  • Guests will be asked in advance of the Benefit as to their seating preferences.  You may be seated with your flock (friends) at a 3’x8’ table or you may sit alone or with one to two people of your choosing at a 36” table.
  • Tables are placed 15 feet apart.
  • Food will be in sealed, prepacked boxes.
  • Wine and water will be placed on the tables.
  • Self-serve beer and canned cocktails will also be available.
  • During the migratory bird game, Around the World with Birds, single serve wine, beer and cocktails will be placed throughout the grounds for self-service.
 
Guest Information
  • Guests will undergo Health Check, including a temperature check and short questionnaire prior to entering the Conservancy.
  • Masks are mandatory when entering, exiting, or traveling throughout the Conservancy, including aviaries or restrooms.
  • Masks are not required while at your table, however in accordance with Executive Order No. 7NNN: “Effective immediately, any person in a public place in Connecticut, whether indoors or outdoors, who does not maintain a safe social distance of approximately six feet from every other person shall cover their mouth and nose with a mask or cloth face-covering.”
  • Guests will receive one verbal warning from staff before being asked to leave the Conservancy.
  • Lines will be socially distanced, indicated by ground markers.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available at the entrance, restrooms, and throughout the Conservancy.
  • High-touch areas including door handles and counter surfaces will be regularly disinfected throughout the evening.
  • Restrooms will be cleaned and stocked regularly.
 
 
Staff and Volunteer Information
  • Conservancy staff will undergo Health Check, including a temperature check and short questionnaire prior to entering the Conservancy.
  • Any staff experiencing symptoms, temperature over 99.9, or with previous exposure to a known COVID-19 case, will be instructed to leave the grounds.
  • Staff are required to wear face masks at all times.
  • Staff will enforce social distancing etiquette.
