Education Collaboration with White Memorial

Ripley is excited to announce a new Education Program collaboration with White Memorial starting in 2020! Bringing you the best of both worlds, join us for a 2-in-1 education extravaganza, including one program in your classroom hosted by the Conservancy and a second program at White Memorial. Join both organizations for an education experience that is truly unique and learn from expert educators on local and international science.

Program Opportunities

Wetlands Exploration
Join us to learn about the wonderful world of wetlands, including who lives there and why wetlands are important for ecosystem health.

Endangered Species
Learn what it means when a species is threatened or endangered in the wild. Featuring local Connecticut creatures and those that live abroad, program participants will learn why species are endangered and what we can do to help.

Birds on the Brink in your classroom with Ripley

Rare and Remarkable at White Memorial
Animal Adaptations 
During this program participants will learn about the amazing adaptations that enable wildlife to thrive in their environments, from aquatic habitats to the forest floor.

Pollution Prevention 
Join us to learn about taking care of the planet, from pollution prevention to measuring our environmental impact. You don't want to miss it!

Program Details

Total cost for both programs is $250 + travel (0.55/mile from Ripley to your classroom)
These programs can be scheduled on separate days (one in your classroom and one at White Memorial), OR on the same day, both presented at White Memorial.
