As the nights get longer and the cold weather rolls in,
join Ripley for a two-part, socially-distanced Owl Prowl

Ripley's Owl Prowl is back!
Now structured as a two-part program, join Ripley for a Zoom presentation on nocturnal wildlife, followed by a night hike to call in wild owls!
All proceeds from this event will directly support Ripley's mission.

 Schedule of Events

Zoom Presentation

Discover the natural history of Connecticut's native owls during a Zoom presentation in the comfort of your home, with Dr. Colleen Peters. Learn about local nocturnal wildlife and the unique adaptations that allow them to survive and thrive during the darkest hours. Listen to their calls and learn how to spot them in preparation for your walk the following night. Poppy, our North American Barn Owl, will make a guest appearance!
