Guided Tours

Interested in learning more beyond a self-guided visit?
We offer guided tours for guests who would like to learn more information about the Conservancy’s birds, exhibits, and history.
Schedule a guided tour with one of our expert aviculturists today.
Tours last approximately 1.5 hours

Cost
Guided tour for up to ten people: $50 plus admission fee per person*
Larger groups can be accommodated, contact the office for pricing

Guided tours are available year-round by appointment only.

Field Trips

The Conservancy offers fun and educational field trips for schools, wildlife clubs, and outing groups. Led by one of our experienced staff, your group will be introduced to many of the most colorful and interesting birds in the world while learning how the Conservancy is working to conserve waterfowl and wetland habitats through research, education and conservation action.

Field trips are customized to the needs and interests of each individual group. Special opportunities vary by season but include wetland exploration programs, wild duck banding, and egg candling.

Please call the office Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (860-567-2062) for information on fees and scheduling. Cancellations are requested by 5:00pm the day prior to a scheduled visit.
