DUCK CAMP Week 1 – Bird Nerd (July 6-10)

July 6th-10th from 8:30am-3:00 pm each day, for students entering grades 4-6 in the Fall

Become a Ripley Aviculturist during our Bird Nerd session where campers will explore all things bird! Campers will be given the opportunity to raise their very own ducklings and will learn what goes into taking care of the bird throughout the week - just like our Aviculturists. Campers will explore daily themes related to ducks’ life cycle, function of feathers, bird anatomy, flight, and migration.

Campers will raise their very own duckling. Introductions will take place on Monday where campers will be matched with their bird and tasked with caring for it during the week.

Please be sure to read the Duck Camp Terms & Requirements before registering. RWC will reach out to you shortly with medical and release forms, though can download and get an early start with required medical forms here. Camper registration is not complete until these are returned!
