


DUCK CAMP Module #2 – July 14-18 – Avian Genetics & Evolution
July 14th-18th from 8:30am-12:30pm each day, for students entering grades 3-6 in the Fall.
Designed to be a 4-week long curriculum that builds on the previous week’s material, this week will focus on AVIAN GENETICS & EVOLUTION. Why do birds look the way they look? Why do they act the way they act? Examine the incredible characteristics that have allowed waterfowl and other members of the animal kingdom to evolve successfully over millions of years while exploring the importance of genetic diversity within a population. Campers will learn through interactive experiments, games, and projects.
