DUCK CAMP Module #2 – July 14-18 – The Secret History of Birds

$350.00

July 14th-18th from 8:30am-12:30pm each day, for students entering grades 3-6 in the Fall.

Designed to be a 4-week long curriculum that builds on the previous week’s material, this week will focus on The Secret History of Birds. Did you know that today’s birds evolved from dinosaurs? Or that the shape of a birds beak tells you exactly what it eats? Campers will become junior scientists exploring the history of avian evolution and genetics and learning how we came to have the birds we have today! Campers will learn through interactive experiments, games, and projects.

Additionally, campers will raise their very own duckling. Introductions will take place on Monday where campers will be matched with their bird and tasked with caring for it during the week.

Please be sure to read the Duck Camp Terms & Requirements before registering. RWC will reach out to you shortly with medical and release forms, though can download and get an early start with required medical forms here. Camper registration is not complete until these are returned!
