DUCK CAMP Module # 3 – July 21-25 – Bird Conservationist
July 22nd-26th from 8:30am-12:30pm each day, for students entering grades 3-6 in the Fall.
Designed to be a 4-week long curriculum that builds on the previous week’s material, BIRD CONSERVATIONIST will focus on freshwater resources, wetland habitats, and the ongoing threats to these invaluable systems. Why is water so important to all living organisms, and what is being done to protect and conserve it? Campers will learn through interactive experiments, games, and projects.
Additionally, campers will raise their very own duckling. Introductions will take place on Monday where campers will be matched with their bird and tasked with caring for it during the week.
Please be sure to read the Duck Camp Terms & Requirements before registering. RWC will reach out to you shortly with medical and release forms, though can download and get an early start with required medical forms here. Camper registration is not complete until these are returned!
