DUCK CAMP Module #4 – July 28-Aug 1 – Amazing (Avian) Adaptations

$350.00

July 28th-Aug 1st from 8:30am-12:30pm each day, for students entering grades 3-6 in the Fall.

Designed to be a 4-week long curriculum that builds on the previous weeks’ material, in AMAZING (AVIAN) ADAPTATIONS campers will learn the power of the natural world by exploring feats of speed, strength, and adaptation in the animal kingdom. Get a close-up look at several of Ripley’s awe-inspiring waterfowl that, although mighty, are facing powerful challenges in their natural environments. Focus will be on extraordinary avian adaptations and steps being taken to protect rare and endangered waterfowl. Campers will learn through interactive experiments, games, and projects.

Additionally, campers will raise their very own duckling. Introductions will take place on Monday where campers will be matched with their bird and tasked with caring for it during the week.

Please be sure to read the Duck Camp Terms & Requirements before registering. RWC will reach out to you shortly with medical and release forms, though can download and get an early start with required medical forms here. Camper registration is not complete until these are returned!
